Google for Website Traffic in 2018

When I hear the term Search Engine Optimization whether its On Page or Off Page SEO, I actually think different about SEO, meaning, I personally never use the term within my thinking, instead, I say Website Optimization because that’s what you meant to do with your website. Optimize it both for higher conversions and also higher rankings.

Higher conversions and top Google rankings are the only objective that you have online, they are like 2 sides of the same coin and you can not have one without the other when running an internet business.

Whether you operate a local business site, eCommerce store, affiliate marketing or . You want the same coin “best conversions for the website traffic Google brings” yes does as well, but you can’t optimize for Bing if YOU WANT want TOP GOOGLE rankings (as the algorithms are different for both search engines) so pick your poison “either Google OR Bing”.

I hear ya say Google (smarter choice I too agree).

Search Engine Optimization Lessons for Beginners in 2018

One of the most important SEO technique I can share with RankYa Fans is the fact that Google isn’t as smart as other SEO guru’s make you think.

Meaning, think of Google as a child (bunch of code of algorithms that traverse the internet).

On internet, there exists are the URL’s which are your domain and also pages that you create. What Google does is, requests it, puts the information (content) in its database and then when someone searches Google, it conducts functions/analysis using many different signals to say

If searcher typed in keyword/query which website is the best match?

To understand Google rankings (think of Google as a child who can not speak) and each key-word you use on your website teaches it as to what your website contains. As I’ve said, Google isn’t as smart as others make you believe because it is rather very limited (despite having many signals (some say over 200 signals some say over 700)). However, Google’s limitation lies within the very technology its built upon INTERNET

And that internet (inter connected networks of computers also called the Web) WWW is built on URL’s and HTML (whether your web pages are built using HTM PHP ASP or whatever the P) its still content within

 (type of HTML document)

Which then begins with

<html>

<head> is where you can begin training Google, starting with the HTML <title> Describes the Page Content and its actually w3.org standard that each </title>

Now in 2018 you can also include Structured Data code within the head element like this:

<?php
if ( is_single() && !is_front_page() && !is_home() && !is_page() && !is_paged() && !is_archive() && !is_category() && !is_feed() && !is_attachment() && !is_404()) : ?>
<meta name="keywords" content="<?php
$posttags = get_the_tags();
if ($posttags) {
 foreach($posttags as $tag) {
 echo $tag->name . ', ';
 }
}
?>">
<meta itemprop="keywords" content="<?php
$posttags = get_the_tags();
if ($posttags) {
 foreach($posttags as $tag) {
 echo $tag->name . ', ';
 }
}
?>">
<?php endif; ?> above code is for WordPress, simply place it in header.php for your blog posts and it will add itemprop keywords by pulling the tags for each post automatically (I created that code myself and use it for all my valued client's sites)

<link rel="canonical" href="https://www.rankya.com" />

Once again, using popular CMS like WordPress takes care of canonical issues automatically by including link rel canonical. This helps guide Google to avoid duplicate content issues. So make sure your site is using it as well. There are more codes that can be placed with the head portion of HTML documents

<body>Now this is where the content that people can see begins, its within the body tag. You should h1 h2 till h6 for SEO (in fact, if you are blogging, then, depending on the content length, you must use heading tags for higher ranking in Google). Simply take a look at this blog post you are on for SEO tutorials for beginners 2018 and re-analyze it to learn how I used keywords including heading tags which actually contain the target keywords.

That is why, within the body of HTML %90 percent of SEO will be dependent on the way you are (including synonyms, variations, grammar (such as singular, past tense etc.)).

Do Not Forget to Optimize Images for SEO

Since Google is also an , including alt attributes (which are part of web content as text) ensures that you are guiding Google by use of keywords as to what you want to rank for.

Linking for SEO – Internal and External

Internal Links: are hyperlinks within your entire website, for example: your menu structure has links that point to other parts of your website. Internal links then mean that all the links that are within your own website.

External Links: are hyperlinks that point away from your website to other websites.

Links within the page are also important, in fact, all links are important whether they are your website main navigation menu or internal links or external links, because Google also follows them to make associations between links to and from of web documents. Computational power of Google can easily analyze both ends of all the public links on internet.

Inside Google Data Center

Google sees the internet for what its worth, dynamic living entity. Trillions of URL () (whatever is located at that web resource) URL’s get added each millisecond (whether its a new page or news just published, updated or deleted) internet always moves and never is static. And yet, Google is still limited in terms of what it can analyze

<!DOCTYPE html> HTML structure KEYWORDS and LINKS within till the end of </html>

Google algorithms do the same all over again, Request () and  web documents
