
How to Verify WordPress site in Google Webmaster Tools
There are many ways to verify a WordPress CMS built sites in Google Webmaster Tools (GWT). And this blog post will show you how you can verify your WordPress site whether its self-hosted WordPress site, or WordPress.com hosted website.
First login to Google Webmaster Tools account and locate search console verification details (gear icon on top righthand corner) and for verification methods Select HTML tag method as shown in the image below

For Verifying a WordPress Site Hosted in the Cloud
Login to your Dashboard > Tools > Available Tools and paste Google Webmaster Tools Meta Tag Code and save. Now you can verify your site in Google Search Console.
